Sam Williams is a multi platinum music producer, artist, composer, mixer and multi instrumentalist based in Oxford, UK where he works from his own Templesound studios. He has worked with many different artists including Supergrass, Plan B, The Noisettes, Gaz Coombes and The Go Team in a career spanning two decades and encompassing a wide range of musical genres. He first came to prominence as original Supergrass producer and collaborator when he produced their number one, million selling debut album ‘I Should Co Co’ which was nominated for the Mercury music prize and became the biggest selling debut on Parlophone since The Beatles ‘Please Please Me’.

He was founder member, principle songwriter and front man of The Mystics [Fontana/Rotator] and went on to form The Animalhouse [BMG/Boilerhouse] with Mark Gardener and Loz Colbert of Ride. As well as co writing with various artists he has also established a reputation as an orchestral arranger and has appeared on many records as a featured musician with credits including Guitar, Bass, Drums, Keyboards, Vocals and Theremin. He has recently begun composing music for Film and TV and is currently completing work on a debut solo album.

Sam Scores 'Captcha' - New Film 4 Thriller


'Captcha', the new Film 4 short thriller which Sam has composed the score for has just won Best Film at its world premiere at the SciFi Short Film Festival in Australia, along with an award for best performance by Amy Beth Hayes. It had its UK premiere at The London Short Film Festival earlier this year and has just been invited to Cern film festival in Geneva along with severalĀ forthcoming festivals in the United States.
